Improving Eyesight With Three Simple Changes in Your Computer
Habits
If you have read any research on the eye muscle and the mechanics of vision, you will know that the key to
maintaining or regaining excellent natural vision is familiarity with the key eye muscle stressors
and learning the appropriate techniques to reduce or eliminate these stressors. It is probably not difficult for
most people, when asked to guess what the top sources of eye stress are to pick at least one of the top three, and
in most cases more than just one.
The one that the is the most common across the broadest category of people is Computer induced eye stress. We
have evolved into a society where we use the computer for everything from staying in touch with friends and
Christmas shopping, to scrapbooking and playing games. And for a majority of us, all of that is after coming home
from a job where we stare at a computer all day long. It is hard to put a number of people who seem to always seem
to have a nagging headache, or unexplained dizziness, or persistently dry or teary eyes. Most people ignore the
obvious, and go on a medical witch hunt, when the answer is right under there nose; or in this case, just above
their nose. Some refer to it as Computer Vision Syndrome, which is in effect, a fancy way to desscribe the damge
done to the eye muscle from over exposure and incorrect exposure to a computer monitor.
Improving Eyesight is Easy
As we consistently point out, the good news is that the eye muscle, like any other muscle in the body, can be
retrained and even restored to it's original strength. There are a few changes which can make an immediate
difference in improving eyesight.
- First, make sure that the computer monitor is positioned correctly. It should be directly in front of you,
and your eyes should be 2 ft. to 2 1/2 ft from the screen itself. Looking at a screen from an awkward angle or
from a distance which is too close or too far away is one of the most eye damaging activities which we can
undertake on a consistent basis.
- Next, increase your screen contrast to its maximum setting and increase the font of the text to a size
where it is extremely comfortable to see without any strain at all.
- Finally, never try to battle glare when you are working on a computer. Glare is, and will continue to be,
one of the primary causes of Computer Vision Syndrome.
Once you have made these immediate adjustments, its time to start learning about the other little known, yet
surprisingly simple options which are available to begin to restore your eyesight to its original strength using
purely natural methods.
If you are someone who currently wears glasses or contacts, is about to begin wearing glasses or contacts,
or at an extreme, considering Lasik surgery, you owe it to yourself to visit us and learn more about how you can
forget any of these artificial and more costly alternatives, and improve you eyesight naturally, with very little
cost, compared to these other methods.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, every step you take down the natural path is a step toward healing and
strengthening the eye mucle permanently, and not just a temporary fix until you need that stronger prescription or
even Lasik Surgery.
